What is TOG?

TOG stands for Thermal Overall Grade. It indicates how warm a sleeping bag is. The higher the TOG value, the better the sleeping bag insulates.

Guidelines per room temperature

TOG 0.5 – Warm summer nights (24°C and warmer)

TOG 1.0 – Spring and mild temperatures (20–24°C)

TOG 2.5 – Cooler nights (16–20°C)

It is important to look not only at the season, but especially at the temperature in the bedroom.

Additional tip

Always check your baby's neck. Does this feel warm and clammy? Then it is probably too hot.

With the correct TOG value you help your baby sleep comfortably and safely.
